Driver’s duties include:
- Driving passengers to their destinations in a prompt, friendly manner.
- Taking job details from an operator at the office, or more usually from your in-car computer/phone.
- Be booked in advance or wait on an official taxi rank.
- Help to load and unload passengers’ luggage.
- Help passengers to get in and out of the vehicle if needed.
- Take payments, both cash and card.
- Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and adhere to all COVID-19 health and safety measures.
- If self-employed, you should keep accounts and records.

CULTURE ABERDEEN COORDINATOR
Salary: £26,000 per annum pro rata.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and competent administrator to become the new Culture Aberdeen Co-ordinator. Working with the chair and executive committee, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and continuing success of Culture Aberdeen. And the evolution and implementation of Aberdeen’s Cultural Strategy, and advocating for the city’s cultural sector. You will of course have a strong interest in and be passionate about the city’s cultural sector.
The role will be based within and employed by Belmont Filmhouse Limited, acting on behalf of Culture Aberdeen.
This is a part-time (0.6 week, can be spread over 5 days). Fixed term contract (12 months or the end of July 2023, whichever comes first).

Library Assistant
Central Library
Central library is hiring a library assistant. They will work as a member of the library network team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused library services.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
4 National 5 passes at Grade A-C or equivalent, to include English and a Mathematics subject or equivalent
PVG Membership for Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults. Or willingness to obtain prior to a formal offer of employment being made
The post holder is expected to demonstrate skills and experience in:
- Carrying out physical nature of duties; movement of books and other resources between and onto shelves
- Cash handling
- Presentation, promotion skills and delivery of outreach activities to a range of clients
- Proactively assisting and supporting service users e.g. floor walking
- Use of new technologies
- Working independently
- Working collaboratively
Demonstrate an understanding of:

- The diverse needs of customers

- The range of library services
- Best practices relating to child protection/safeguarding
